1 week in

Today marks one week since we purchased this beautiful home :) It has been a BUSY week! I have worked approximately 50 hours this week and my husband has had a very similar week since Monday (he took last Thursday and Friday off). However, we have still managed to get quite a bit done!!

At this point, I have a full coat of green paint on the girls' room. It was expensive paint that was supposed to be paint and primer all in one, but it sucks! So, I figure it will work like a green primer. I got some suggestions on facebook for a better brand and picked that up yesterday. My hope is to go throw a coat on today after work.

In gardening news, we found an apple tree in our yard! We need to trim around it and prune it next spring, but there a small green apples on it! Oh, and we found rhubarb! This has really sparked my want to be outside working. I plan on picking up some compost and tomato plants and having the kids work in the raised beds while Joe and I work in the house.
